Barbara A. Morris co-founded Laser Image, Inc. incorporating 10 years of previous sales
and marketing experience. After graduating from the University of Missouri,
Morris worked in media sales, marketing and media buying. Morris is instrumental
in the development, delivery and marketing of the Laser Image breadth of business
application solutions.
Laser Image is widely recognized for offering the industry's highest level of
analytical decision-making software and support, and is known for reliable, scalable,
superior technology applications. As president, Morris leads the overall open source
and Linux strategy across Laser Image, and has been involved in the Linux movement
since 1995.
After studying English at the University of Oklahoma, Chele L. Butler co-founded Laser
Image, Inc. along with Morris in 1989. Butler leveraged 12 years of mastering the direct
marketing industry and merged those disciplines with current and upcoming technology.
When data management was still in its infancy, Butler envisioned the future and focused
primarily on business applications while with Harte-Hanks.
As Vice President of Laser Image, Butler leads a talented team of production managers
recognized for their creativity and superior customer service. Butler directs the production
applications support and technical services teams committed to broadening Laser Image's
business solutions and she has an integral role in all new product communications.
Keene Smith joined Laser Image in January of 2010, to oversee new business development
along with retention programs for existing clients.
With over 20 years experience in the insurance industry, specializing in direct
response marketing, Smith brings additional industry knowledge to the Laser Image team.
Her career started in the P&C business, working on direct mail campaigns in all areas
from list buying to print production. After moving over to the Life/Health side of
the business, Smith gained experience in media planning and buying, commercial production
and fulfillment processes. Along the way, this direct response knowledge was leveraged
for the sales force, helping generate leads from multiple sources for the field.
Smith has a B.S. in Business Administration from Albright College, in Reading, PA.
Industry designations include FLMI, ACS, AIRC and she is currently working toward her AAPA.
Schenita Floyd joined Laser Image in February of 2007, to oversee all phases
of our projects, from pre-sales, project planning, milestone reviews,
to post implementation and project closures.
Floyd has over 15 years of project management, engineering, product
management, consulting and training experience. Before joining Laser
Image Floyd worked as an electrical engineer and project manager in the
communications, sales, marketing and banking industries having been involved
in both small and large-scale projects across the U.S. and overseas.
Floyd received an MBA in Finance from Southeastern University, a Master‘s Certificate
in Project Management from George Washington University, and a Bachelors of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M. Floyd is a certified
Project Management Professional and has maintained her certification since 2000.
Long Tran joined Laser Image in 2006. As manager of technical support and data,
he oversees the design, development, data entry and support for the company‘s lead
management systems in several major programming languages.
Long‘s extensive background and solid programming savvy brings a wealth of
knowledge to the Laser Image team. He began his career as a programmer with
Xerox, later progressing to lead engineer, senior software engineer, and UNIX
applications manager with several prominent Dallas technology companies. He is
an expert in mail marketing, lead management, bulk printing, telephony systems in vertical
markets, and general computing system design and development.
Long graduated with honors from the University of Texas at El Paso with a
Bachelor of Science in engineering.
